She didn't start in a boardroom.

Julie started at 18, in a telecom job, learning how organizations actually work from the inside out. Twenty-five years later, that's not just a career — it's a diagnostic database no one else has.

Julie Nyberg, Coach & HR Strategist

THE STORY

Julie ran HR for a $15 billion business.

She led people strategy at Microsoft across 22 countries, held a federal security clearance, and helped take a nonprofit from $100 million to $1 billion in revenue. She spent four years as a PE portfolio advisor embedded in high-stakes growth companies where the margin for getting talent wrong was zero.

Before any of that, she started at 18 in a telecom job, learning how organizations actually work from the ground floor up.

That sequence built a pattern library assembled across military, multinational tech, PE-backed startups, nonprofit, and enterprise. By the time Julie walks into an organization, she's seen every version of the problem it's carrying — and what it takes to fix it.

THE FRAMEWORK

What Julie believes about this work

Organizations work when the right people are in the right roles at the right time — and when leaders have both the backbone to hold the standard and the heart to keep people in.

The organizations that get it right aren't the ones with the best frameworks. They're the ones where leaders are willing to have the clear conversation, make the structural call, and build the bench before the gap becomes a crisis.

That's the work Julie helps leaders get to.
