EXECUTIVE COACHING • HR STRATEGY
The people strategy you need isn't on a slide deck.
It's buried three layers below what your culture survey is reporting.
Julie Nyberg helps mission-driven organizations find why the right people keep leaving, stalling, or landing in the wrong roles, and shows them how to fix it.
TRUSTED BY LEADERS AT:
Most organizations don't have a talent problem. They have a design problem.
The right people are usually there. They're just not in the right configuration: not operating in roles built for where the organization is actually going.
Across 25+ years running the people function at every scale, from a $5 billion Amazon business to early-stage startups to PE portfolio companies, Julie has developed a pattern library most HR advisors don't have access to.
The diagnostic isn't the deliverable.
The structural clarity is.

ABOUT
Julie’s story
Julie was the Global HR Leader for Amazon Prime.
She led people strategy at Microsoft across 22 countries, held a federal security clearance, and helped take a community-owned corporation from $100 million to $1 billion in revenue. At that same company she was the board advisor on the compensation committee on executive pay, incentive plans, 401(k), and benefits, and built several of those programs herself. The ones that didn't exist until she saw the gap and made the case.
For the past four years she's advised PE portfolio companies, embedded in high-stakes growth where the margin for getting talent wrong is zero.
Before any of that, she started her early career in a telecom job, learning how organizations actually work from the ground floor up.
That range built a pattern library across military, multinational tech, PE-backed startups, nonprofit, enterprise, and the boardroom. By the time Julie walks into an organization, she's seen every version and scale of the problem it's carrying, and what it takes to fix it.
-
Within a month of providing the team HR leadership, the feedback from the C-Suite and the board was that we should “hold on to her”. She understood the organization, had diagnosed where the system was broken, and had a clearly articulated strategic plan. She spoke plainly and directly and the board appreciated her straightforward insights when challenged.

"Julie is one of those rare treasures in the world that after you find her and use her unbelievable talent and skills, you wonder how you ever lived without her. She goes above and beyond as a partner and can articulate the needs of the business before they even recognize it."

If you already know something is off, that's enough to start.
Most engagements begin with a single conversation.
Not a sales call. A diagnostic one.
